World Trembles As Hungary's Socialist President Promises Coalition Against Orban In Wall Street Journal Interview

What’s going on, you might ask. Well, we’ll never really know as WSJ has become a subscription based “paper,” but based on Hungarian media renditions of the interview it seems MSzP President Attila Mesethazy intends to become Attila the Hun in an effort to unite Hungary’s opposition parties for the 2014 elections.
Mesterhazy (who used to be described as looking like the devil himself before completely ditching his chin strip and mustache look) claimed there is an almost 100 percent chance of this happening, and added MSzP is specifically looking at a coalition with the “Together 2014″ party headed by former Hungarian PM Gordon Bajnai.
According to WSJ this means the now fragmented liberal opposition could have a shot at forming a government encouraging foreign direct investment. On the same note Mesterhazy stressed the burden of the bank tax must also be lifted for the Hungarian economy to function.
