Kőbánya Station Revamp Delayed
State railway company MÁV has announced a new tender for the renovation of Kőbánya-Kispest railway station in Budapest, it told HVG on June 8.

The previous contract to modernise the station signed in early 2017 has been cancelled and new bids are now being considered, MÁV said.

Reconstruction will start in spring 2020 to be completed by the end of 2021. MÁV received an EU subsidy of Ft 4.5 billion for the project.
