IB Visual Arts, Film & Music Evening @ The British International School Budapest
From The British International School Budapest: "Year 13 Visual Arts students made their Art Teacher very proud on Tuesday 12 March. The fantastic artwork they have spent the last two years making transformed the BISB theatre into an Art gallery.

Beautiful paintings, thought provoking sculpture and installation work made a fascinating show that explored many aspects of the ‘human condition’ from family history, mortality and consumerism to societal pressures and the need for human beings to work together and help one another.

The professionalism of these young artists made a really interesting evening for us. Thoughtful labels explained the thinking and ideas behind each piece and the wide range of media meant there was something for viewers of every age to enjoy.

An immense daisy chain was projected onto a rippling backdrop seeming to dance in one corner, an animal skull sprouted colourful fungal blooms and a ‘carrier bag’ made us consider the true cost of designer labels…

A really memorable evening, if you didn’t make it, make sure you don’t miss next year’s exhibition!" Kim Glass, BISB Art Teacher
