Coronavirus: Peak Of Epidemic In Hungary Expected This June, July
According to Hungarian experts, the coronavirus epidemic is expected to peak in Hungary this June or July, says Gergely Gulyás, Minister of the Prime Minister's Office. He added that nothing is certain, with calculations ongoing.

During his weekly press conference yesterday he also noted that three deputies are ready to stand in for PM Orbán in case he contracts COVID-19.

Of particular note, he said the number of confirmed cases in Hungary is expected to rapidly rise in the coming days, and that the Hungarian medical system is prepared, with 2600 ventilators available and more being acquired - by way of comparison, the UK currently has 8175 such devices available for a population around six times larger.
