Fast Food Experiences of Mark Ruffalo & Emma Stone in Hungary
Hollywood stars Mark Ruffalo and Emma Stone recently visited Hungary for the filming of Yorgos Lanthimos’ much-anticipated film “The Poor Things,” a strong contender for this year’s Oscars.

While in the country, they didn’t miss the chance to experience the local McDonald’s, with Ruffalo becoming a frequent visitor, as revealed in a playful interview with LADbible TV.

During the interview, they were asked whether visiting McDonald’s in different countries is a must to experience local variations, noting that each country has its unique offerings (with some European locations even serving beer). Both Ruffalo and Stone agreed it’s essential.

Stone shared her memories from Hungary, which can be seen in the video linked below, starting at 8:15:

The conversation began with Stone expressing disbelief that Ruffalo genuinely thought it necessary to try McDonald’s in every country. Ruffalo quickly responded, revealing that while shooting at ORIGO Studios in Budapest, he dined at the popular fast food chain every other day and even invited Stone to join him once.

McDonald’s in Hungary is so good because they have to kill the animal within like 10 miles of the McDonald’s, so it’s super fresh. The fries in McDonald’s in Hungary – oh my God!” raved Ruffalo. He also shared his favorite order: a Cheese McRoyal without onions to avoid gas production, but when alone, he indulges in a double portion of onions.

“The Poor Things” is set to hit Hungarian cinemas on January 25, 2024.
