“St. George’s Day was a wonderful event last year, showcasing the best of what England has to offer, not least the great music that has emerged from England over the decades, which is enjoyed by legions of fans in Ireland. The night also had a very worthy cause, raising money for UNICEF. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!"

Family & Youth Events: The Carnival Of The Animals, Palace Of Arts, 4 April

Even though this is a period when it is safer to only travel in our imagination, as a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation, we are arranging for all of us to be able to feel like we will be sitting in the auditoriums of each of the continent's most prestigious performing arts centres for a concert. On our Facebook page we will thus be offering you a glimpse into the programmes held at major European concert halls from Lisbon and Hamburg to London - trusting that this will be another way to make the time spent at home more pleasant. The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saëns and all the imagery that is created during childhood around the animals is the focus of this production of the Education Service of Casa da Música. One of the greats of the classical music repertoire becomes the starting point for this special concert for the early years. The performance will be broadcasted on our Facebook channel.

4 April - 1095 Budapest, Komor Marcell utca 1.
