Budapest Airport has launched a new noise monitoring and flight tracking system from 1 October. A new website which provides information on air traffic movements occurring in the vicinity of the airport and their noise impacts in a transparent manner, in near real time, free of charge, is now available to all.

Omar spent some time in academia, his studies ranging from literature to medieval history to linguistics, and is currently in the final stages of completing his PhD thesis, after which he plans to return full-time to his father's cheese business that has taken root in Hungary and spread around the world.

But not all are happy with the renaissance; for some the lockdown provided much welcomed relief.
