More From CM Budapest:

Spring is here, and so is the 2012 Spring Critical Mass on April 22nd

The Budapest Bike Boom is thriving. In March the Bike Counter in Budapest downtown indicated a 100% rise on weekdays compared to the same period last year. This is an unbelievable surge, we never thought we could go on like this even with so many bikers already on the streets. But if this is so we want it to be even more so! Cycling is cheap, fast, predictable and joyful and this is exactly what many Budapest people need.

The ride starts at 4 p.m.

The route:
Pesti alsó rakpart (at XIII. Szt. Istvan park)- Márius 15. tér - Irányi utca - Ferenciek tere - Erzsébet híd - Attila út - Alagút -  Lánchíd - Andrássy út - Városliget

You can help us organize the event the following ways:

- come to the organizers' meeting on April 4th at 6 pm at the Merlin theatre (5th district Gerlóczy utca 4.) and grab some posters and stickers to be able to spread the info in your neighborhood and/or workplace

The Goals of CM Budapest

Much like in other parts of the world, the goals of Critical Mass Budapest are to raise awareness on the benefits of bicycling and other alternative means of transportation, and to assert cyclists' right to the road.
