Union Recycles Gov’t Questionnaires In Hungary
The Hungarian chemical industry union VDSZ has collected more National Consultation questionnaires for recycling than were returned to the government, Népszabadság reports.

Of the 8 million questionnaires sent to households in the government’s National Consultation initiative in the spring, fewer than 10% were filled in and returned by the August 20 deadline.

The union sold ten tons of paper from one million questionnaires to a recycling centre for Ft 200,000.

The union has donated the money to a kindergarten for disadvantaged children in the financially troubled town of Esztergom.
