Extra Funding For Mátyás Templom In Budapest
The cabinet has decided to provide Ft 700 million in additional funding for the renovation of the Mátyás Templom (Matthias Church) in Buda, which has been dragging on for years. The funding means that the project could be completed next year, Human Resources Minister Zoltán Balog told reporters outside the church on Tuesday.

The total cost of the renovation, due for completion by next June, is near Ft 8.5 billion.

The state had allocated Ft 5.5 billion to the project from the start of work in 2006 up to 2011.
