Invitation: For The Love Of Art Exhibition Opening, Budapest, 29 May
For the love of art is an exhibition of photographic portraits by Zaid S Sethi, a photographer/writer from England, currently based in Hungary, to be held at the Moha Art Cafe, Budapest, Hungary during the month of June.

The exhibition was inspired by a visit to the Derkovits scholarship winners exhibition at the Ernst Museum in 2011. On being asked by a friend what he thought of the exhibition he recalls remembering Lord Carnarvon’s question to Howard Carter of what he could see when first looking into Tutankhamun’s tomb, whose reply was ‘wonderful things’. Following that visit he tracked down the winners, asking them to sit for a photographic portrait. The result of his work was shown together with the Derkovits scholarship winners exhibition at the Ernst Museum in 2012.

Zaid continues to take portraits of Hungarian contemporary artists, which combines his passion for art and photography, and his interest in the humanity that connects us as people. The twenty portraits included in the exhibition are personal in that they not only show the artists but also the effect of the shoot on him as a photographer.
