IMF Raises Hungarian Growth Forecast
The IMF has increased its economic growth forecast for Hungary from 2% to 2.8% for this year, and from 1.7% to 2.3% next year, in its latest forecast. Growth is supported by monetary easing and state spending in Hungary, the IMF added.

The IMF expects inflation in Hungary to rise from 0.3% in 2014 to 2.3% next year, and the current account surplus to drop from 3% of GDP this year to 2.5% next year.

Unemployment is expected to shrink from 10.3% in 2013 to 8.2% this year and 7.8% next year.
