Duna Medical Center Expands
Construction of the second phase of the Duna Medical Center, the largest private hospital in Hungary, has started in Budapest’s Ninth District, the owner announced. Work on the concrete skeleton that has sat idle on the Danube riverside for eight years will be resumed by construction company Épszerk Pannónia Invest.

The new private hospital will open at the end of 2017 with 130 beds and seven ambulances.

Duna Medical Center opened in August 2015 and also provides hospital services since December.

Ukrainian investor Igor Yankovsky is planning to invest Ft 18 billion in the project.

He purchased the concrete skeleton from the entrepreneur Sándor Demján.
