Budapest Spring Festival Opening Promenad, 1 April

Hundreds of professional and amateur dancers, singers and musicians will start out from central locations in the city – Fővám tér, Városháza park, Vörösmarty tér and Szent István tér –, to make a big noise and announce the arrival of spring.
As the Parade progresses on Andrássy Avenue, there will be performances at certain stops, as on Liszt Ferenc Square and Kodály körönd, which celebrate Liszt and his age.
When they arrive at Heroes’ Square, the performers will join a large production that involves several art forms. The audience should also feel free to participate!
