Foreign Ministry Condemns London Mosque Attack
Hungary’s foreign ministry has condemned Monday’s van attack against worshippers near a London mosque. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that took place in London in the early hours of Monday; terrorism is never justifiable,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ruling Fidesz party also condemned the attack and expressed sympathy to the victims’ families and wished quick recovery to those injured.

The circumstances of the incident are still being investigated but “the latest inhuman attack once again demonstrated that the Hungarian government is acting correctly when it gives priority to maintaining the security of Hungary and its citizens”, the party’s communications director Balázs Hidvéghi said in a statement.
