Budapest Mayor Tarlós Opens Palatinus Strand
Mayor István Tarlós formally reopened the Palatinus swimming complex on Margaret Island on Thursday, after a Ft 2.8 billion renovation. The recreational bath complex will now be open all-year round.

A 100m2 pool with curative water was built along with a 60m2 pool for children and a cold and hot pools.

Tarlós also said the entire Margaret Island has been renewed and construction of a sewerage system has been finished.

The mayor also reopened the renovated Császár-Komjádi swimming complex in Buda on Thursday.

László Szõke, head of the city-owned spa company, said a swimming complex in Csillaghegy will be opened in the summer of 2018, the long closed Pesterzsébet public baths in the summer of 2019, and the Király baths in the summer of 2020, all following renovations.
