Digi To Launch Cheap Mobile Internet In Hungary
Cable TV and telecom service provider Digi is launching a mobile-phone internet service on June 1, according to the website of the media and communications authority NMHH.

This is a postponed debut, as the original launch date was June 15, 2018.

Information sent to Digi subscribers suggests that the company will offer cheap mobile net services, charging Ft 1,000 a month for 50Gbyte of data with a maximum download speed of 15Mbps and upload speed of 2Mbps.

It is not clear whether in addition to mobile net Digi will launch conventional mobile phone services, Portfolio commented.

Digi will be the fourth player on Hungary’s mobile market, but will probably not cover the entire country with its service because of its frequency licence, Portfolio adds.
