DK Party Calls For Air Conditioning In Hungarian Hospitals
Democratic Coalition has called on the government to install air conditioning units in hospital operating rooms, intensive wards and patient rooms.

Citing data from the Hungarian Hospital Federation, Democratic Coalition health care specialist Imre László said there are no air conditioning units installed in one-third of operating rooms, nearly half of intensive wards and 98% of patient rooms.

László said this is where nine years of austerity measures adopted by the Orbán government have led.

According to certain calculations, about Ft 1.9 trillion worth of funds have been removed form health care since 2010, he said.
