In her 10 minute main stage address to a large Sziget Festival crowd, Jane Goodall expressed hope that the younger generation will take action to positively change the world regarding conservation, animal welfare and green issues.

“We can save the world, if we get together; we will save the world if we get together” Goodall said at the festival. Sziget's ‘Love Revolution’ in 2019 has a strong focus on environmental consciousness and sustainable development.

85 year old UK national Dr. Jane Goodall is considered to be the world’s foremost researcher of chimpanzees. Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, she has worked extensively on conservation and on promoting animal welfare issues.

"The (chimpanzee) males compete for dominance, swaggering, looking big and strong, reminding me very much of many human, male politicians today,” Goodall also said in her Sziget lecture.

She has served on the board of the Nonhuman Rights Project since its foundation back in 1996, and was named a UN Messenger of Peace in April 2002.

Ambassador Lindsay has quite some experience with interviewing well-known people, he said meeting Dr Jane Goodall at Sziget 2019 has a special place in his heart - you can see their interview below.
