St Paddy's Parade In Budapest, 17 March
The warm-hearted Irish in Budapest invite you to attend the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday 17 March. The gathering will take place at 1pm, in Szabadság tér once again...

This popular expat community event brings together families, friends, and tourists, to 'be green for a day' celebrating St Paddy at this child-friendly parade.

On St Patrick’s Day it is customary to wear shamrocks and/or green clothing or accessories (the “wearing of the green”). 

St Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish. Read on for teh local program:
