B+N Insight: Competition Winner Announced for ‘Office of the Year’ in Hungary
This year, for the 14th time, winners of the Office of the Year competition have been announced. The event traditionally honours the best offices, office buildings, community spaces and interior design companies in Hungary.

The list of entries shows that innovation in the office market is ongoing. Though the key trends continue to be sustainability and community building, artificial intelligence is also becoming increasingly prominent.

185 applications have been received for one of the most important and high-profile real estate competitions in Hungary, The Office of the Year (AZ Év Irodája). A professional jury of renowned professionals announced the winners in 13 categories among offices, office buildings, community spaces and interior design companies. This year’s entries were again representative of key trends, illustrating the changes taking place in the world of work – Realista.Ingatlan.com reports.

Technology could lead to new structures of working in offices

In the office market, the well-known socio-economic changes are causing property developers and tenants to take an increasingly comprehensive approach to the workplace ecosystem. The hybrid model is now being implemented at a professional level in the workplace, with both companies and employees adopting the new work culture more effectively.

In addition, the technology revolution seems unstoppable, with artificial intelligence (AI) playing an increasingly important role alongside building management solutions, including energy optimisation. The application of AI in the real estate market is only just beginning, so we are looking forward to a very exciting few years ahead, which could lead to new structures of working in offices.

Alongside digital technologies, environmental solutions are also fundamentally shaping the world of workplaces. Green leases are proliferating, with property managers and tenants working together for a sustainable future. The role of the community is also emerging as a key factor in creating well-being for workers.
