New Developments at The British International School Budapest

The British International School Budapest continues to go from strength to strength, providing a premium quality British international education to a multicultural population of students aged 3-18.

Their accessible city campus is open and green and this summer they have seen a further expansion of the world class facilities.

These facilities include a new playground area for Primary, refurbished outdoor and indoor basketball courts and the latest phase of the modernisation of all of our science laboratories.

New studios for the visual arts are in the final stages of completion and the community café, the BIStro, has undergone a facelift and is already proving popular with parents, student and teachers. They work to empower children to thrive in an ever-changing world and their new huge murals convey messages relating to the sciences, technology and sustainability. The British International School Budapest students have achieved outstanding academic results this summer, with their IB Diploma average nearly 4 points above the world average and over 50% of our GCSEs being awarded at the top A*/A grades.

This year the graduating students moved on to top universities such as Cambridge, University College London, Imperial College, Warwick and the London School of Economics and Political Science to embark on such diverse degree courses as Law, Medicine, Engineering and Economics.
