MikulásGyár: Delivering A Merrier Xmas In Hungary

MikulásGyár is open between 9 and 19 December (10am to 10pm) in 2010 for the sixth time at Felvonulási Tér to collect donations in order to offer a Merrier Xmas for 200.000 children. Helping needy families and children is the plan in 2010 as well at this 10-day-long humanitarian event.
Triple WAMP In Budapest On 5 December Enriched With Gastro Section

"In December there will be three WAMPs in a raw at Millenáris, and each and every one of them will be at least two times bigger than the usual ones! There will be more than 200 designers and thanks to the organization of Lila Füge - who is a well known gastro blogger – there will be a whole gastro section, representing all kind of design-gastro treats: chocolates, wines, olive oils, chutney, ...

"The largest Hungarian Baroque palace, situated in Gödöllő, traditionally hosts the annual Advent Palace Days programme series. The splendid heritage building is decked out with Christmas decorations and provides a variety of events for visitors.
Savaria Historic Carnival, Szombathely, 20 - 23 August

"Staged on the last weekend in August, the events of Savaria Historic Carnival pay tribute to Szombathely's historic past. Around a hundred thousand participate in the events which include historical games and a procession of the residents dressed in period costumes. The festivities truly bring bygone days to life from Roman times to the Baroque period.
