Corinthia Hotel Budapest, originally built as the Grand Hotel Royal, launches a new package to celebrate the Oscar success of Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and the cinematic past and present of Hungary’s capital. Public works employees have built eight adobe homes in Gilánfalva, an exclusively Roma village in Baranya county, in what Interior Ministry undersecretary Péter Szabó described as a pilot project. The houses were built by 20 workers in less than four months with the help of architecture students from the University of Pécs, at a total cost of Ft 70 million.
