Kitti Gosztola, nominee of the prestigious Essl Art Award, is the first artist to exhibit her Labours of the Months cycle at Innotica Group’s Budapest offices. The Innovation in Art Series support young talents exhibiting their work, and also aims to stimulate inspiring dialogues between corporate managers and contemporary visual artists in the spirit of innovation and creativity.

Political scientist Jozsef Debreczeni presented his latest book, A 2006-osz (The Autumn of 2006) to the media and politicians. Former Democratic Forum caucus leader Karoly Herenyi, former Democratic Forum MP Szabolcs Kerek-Barczy, former Free Democrat MP Tamas Bauer and former Free Democrat interior minister Gabor Kuncze all attended the book launch.

Team GB might not have won any medals on 8 August (although we were very happy to see Hungary doing so well), but for me it was a day of firsts: Day 1 of the Festival was also the first anniversary of my arrival in Budapest and I made my first visit to the Sziget Festival and my first speech in Hungarian.

The British Embassy in Budapest will launch a brand new online service for customers to use in order to book appointments for notarial services on 2 May 2012. This service will allow customers to book their appointments from the comfort of their own homes at any time of the day and receive immediate confirmation.
