Opening Ceremony of the Dragon European Championship in Balatonfüred on 27 May. Mr. István Bóka, the mayor of Balatonfüred, declared the 2018 Dragon European Championship opened on Sunday evening. 57 boats from 15 countries will sail for the Virginie Heriot Cup on Lake Balaton in Hungary until Friday night.

On 11 November Budapestians Daniel Kaali and Brody House Group co-founder William Clothier travel to the Nevada desert to compete in the World’s Toughest Mudder (WTM) Event - a gruelling 24-hour non-stop obstacle course race. Competitors race to complete as many of the specially designed 5-mile laps as possible in a 24-hour period.
