For the first time in Europe the public is invited to the exhibition 'Moving Walls 22 / Watching You, Watching Me'. It explores how photography can be both an instrument of surveillance and a tool to expose and challenge its negative impact. The exhibition is at the Open Society Archives and will run until December 8 and will then travel to Berlin.

From 5th June, you can visit the popular summer attraction, the Butterfly Garden, at our Zoo. In the facilities to be found behind the Palm House, visitors can observe several hundred specimens of 23 tropical butterfly species. The Butterfly Garden has a surface area of 260 square metres: more than five hundred specimens of 23 species of butterfly can be seen by our visitors.

The director of the Budapest Zoo and Bothanical Gardens has ordered a string of safety measures concerning the operation of the historic rollercoaster on the zoo’s grounds after a train broke loose with passengers on board on Saturday. The young French director’s feature debut, Lucie Borleteau’s FIDELIO, L'ODYSSÉE D'ALICE won the Breaking Waves Award at Titanic International Film Festival held between 10-18 April in five different venues in Budapest.
