‘Viszkis’ (‘The Whiskey Robber’) is the true story of Attila Ambrus, who became a national hero in Hungary in the 1990’s after committing a series of robberies in and around Budapest, in which nobody was hurt. The ‘gentleman thief’ as he was known was often seen sipping a whiskey in a nearby pub before the robberies, which earned him his nickname.

Summer in the country means it’s time to make some money with a music festival. Hungary has an every growing number of such events. Typical is the ‘Jazz Picnic’ in the village of Paloznark, which has just 500 inhabitants. Hosting the annual festival brings in as many as 10,000 visitors, boosting the local economy with the equivalent of over 60,000 euros just in ticket sales.
