Brett was born in Mosgiel, New Zealand. After graduating from Dunedin College of Education and Otago University, he moved to Auckland, where he taught in private education. In 2000, Brett moved to Bangkok, Thailand, to assume his first international post.

I was born and raised in Budapest. I’ve always enjoyed learning languages and this is why I went to a Russian-Hungarian bilingual High School, which was quite a shock for my friends and family.
Olga Benedek, Porcelain Designer Artist, Head Of Ceramics Courses In Budapest & Nagykovácsi

Olga studied ceramics in Hungary at the Secondary School of Fine and Applied Arts. After that she graduated from the porcelain department of the Hungarian University of Applied Arts - Moholy-Nagy University of Arts: MOME.
