The Chinese Film Festival opened in Budapest’s Uránia National Film Theatre on Sunday, where guest of honour Oscar-winning martial arts expert and film star Jackie Chan met Minister of Human Capacities Zoltán Balog.
Budapest Zoo Is 150 Years Old

It’s been 150 years since Hungary’s very first zoo, the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden in the heart of the capital opened its gates to the public on August 9, 1866, writes hvg.hu. It was back at the end of the 18th century that the first public zoos were opened in Western Europe, the zoo in Vienna, for instance, began welcoming visitors in 1780.

The biggest equestrian festival in Hungary is arranged every year in Budapest at the majestic Heroes Square. The first National Gallop was held in 2008, and since then became a very popular event filled with Hungarian culture, featuring action filled horse races.
