Amnesty International (AI) has criticised the Hungarian government’s migration policies and made proposals on measures in its latest report released in London. Hungary’s attempts to insulate itself against a regional and wider global refugee crisis can only be achieved at the expense of its respect for international human rights and refugee law obligations.

The government is aware of 14 Hungarians who want to leave Yemen, Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó told state news agency MTI on Monday. The group of 26 Hungarians flown out of Yemen on Sunday have arrived in Khartoum, where they were received by embassy officials and are in good health. They include a woman seven months pregnant, and children.
