Budapest’s Sziget Festival is expected to generate revenue of 6 billion forints (EUR 19m) this year, the organiser told business daily Világgazdaság. This year’s revenue will be “somewhat higher” than last year’s, Sziget managing director Károly Gerendai told the paper.

The Economy Ministry has issued seven permits to operate casinos in Hungary. The ministry said the casinos will each pay an annual concession fee of 4 billion forints (EUR 13m) and are expected to each generate around 1 billion forints in VAT revenue per year as well. It added that the casinos will also create jobs and increase tourism.
