4-Day Workweek Test Extended by Major Retailer in Hungary
Book retailer Libri-Bookline has extended testing of the four-day workweek launched in October 2022 by another year, communications director Orsolya Ludvig told Minner.hu.

The company will evaluate the results of the pilot project in June.

The experiment affects only about 20% of the total workforce, who work eight and a half hours a day from Monday to Thursday, while receiving their full salary.

Magyar Telekom also experimented with the four-day workweek, but ultimately chose not to adopt it.
