Mark William Christopher Higgie (born 26 July 1957) is a former Australian diplomat, political advisor, and intelligence analyst. He was Australia’s ambassador in Brussels (to the EU, NATO, Belgium and Luxembourg) between 2014 and 2017.

I was born in Budapest on 15th February 1970. At the age of five I entered the world of high performance sport as a member of KSI – Central Sports School gymnastics team. In 1986 I joined the Postás Sports Club and then, through a scholarship, continued in the USA with the University of Minnesota’s gymnastics team. It was there that I concluded my active career in elite sport.

Born in 1983, Éva Polgár started her piano studies in 1990. In 2001, she was admitted to the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where her teacher was Hamsa Al-Wadi Juis. Éva finished her studies in Helsinki in 2008, and at her diploma concert was honoured to play Beethoven's 3rd concerto with an orchestra conducted by the famous Finnish conductor, Okko Kamu.
